Life's Stages (revised edition)

Standing:
Standing for the flag,
Proud to be an American,
Even though this nation has a bag,
Of all the things wrong with it.
Young men died,
To give us freedom,
Mothers cried,
At the fallen Kingdom.
Kneeling:
We fall to our knees,
As the realization comes,
Begging "Jesus Please,
Forgive us for what we've done."
Falling:
As our bodies crash,
From being so old and worn,
And our family turns us to Ash,
As their hearts are torn.
We lived a good life,
Fought for our country,
Loved our wife,
And lived for more than money.
Rising:
On our way to eternal glory,
The riches of this world,
All fall into a meaningful story,
As we rise from ashes,
And stand before God Almighty.
