I have a question
Philosophical or scientific
That, I can't discern.
What is light?
Absence of darkness
Or being out of dumbness
Is that all light is?
If it wasn't for light
We wouldn't see or tell time right
I preach enlightment
In the expense of sentiment
Light is all I need
To keep my good intent
For personal development!
When a torch is lit
And placed on the peak
It shines to the pit
Liberates the souls lost
And entails a sense of trust
While I stick around and eat
I'll keep that light shining bright!
