The wind and waves lead me astray,
It howls and crashes and can't be untamed,
But you O' Lord are not far away,
I am a ship lost at sea,
With no anchor to hold me still,
Searching for a Lighthouse to set me free,
Shine your light on me O' Lord!
For I am blinded in darkness!
See me? For I am on board!
Save me! for I am in destress!
For you O' God are my Lighthouse!
Cast away my sins into the sea,
You shelter me safely in your house,
Thank you O' Lord, for you have set me free!
