Life becomes constricting
Our throats clog up
with all reminders both real and imagined
of what we want to do but can't
We are lost
in our limitations
and become landlocked
by the boundaries of time and space
Then we sail in our dreams
to the depths of the ocean
Here still waters run deep
and rough waters remind us of the need to shake things up
New possibilities exist here
that transcend our limited landlocked thinking
Our minds soar from the deepest depths of the sea
to the highest reaches of the heavens
The deep ocean waves
rejuvenate us
and wash over us
like a cleansing of our previous thinking
We awake to a reborn image of ourselves
renewed with the vigor of the endless ocean
ready to meet the challenges of our lives
with vision and grace
Limitation becomes unlimited
constriction becomes the endless portal
to greater and greater heights
of achievement and limitless potential
