Each day, another line on my face
But it's something I embrace
There's no escaping getting old
But what I learned is gold
I wouldn't trade it for my youth
The ups and downs was worth it
And I know it's not over yet
My lines define my life and truth
At first it was really scary
It filled my heart with so much worry
But the nightmares finally ended
When my mindset I have altered
Now I live each day to the fullest
Make sure I complete what I start
I don't know how long life will last
But I'll die with peace in my heart
