Well we fought against each other
We were like Tom and Jerry
That's a nickname we were given
But inspite everything
We always looked after each other
When we had no one but our selves
We stood together strong
Fought to keep moving
Sacrificed a lot for each other
She saw me at my weakest
And I saw her at her worse
And no minute did we abandon each other
"BLOOD IS STRONGER THAN WATER"
Our bond is the definition of the above saying
We passed through everything that
Was supposed to break us
But instead it kept us together
I remember the first time I saw her
She was just a baby
So noisy and an attention seeker
The three year old me
Felt neglected
For she had all the love and attention
But I came to get used to it
For she was there to stay
Since then our bond grew
My only family
Gave me a niece
Another reason to keep moving
She's a mom
And I'm a proud aunty
Yes I'm happy
That she's happy
Something that was just a story
we'd tell each other
Just to keep the fire burning
She's the best
I've ever had
My strength
My hope
My gift from above
I'm blessed because
She's my sister
