Hard to accept it's gone,
Little black book of my life,
Your absence hurts more,
Then a razor sharp knife,
I've looked far and wide,
Retraced steps and where I've been,
But it seems I may never,
Have you in my hands again,
Everything I've gone through,
This year lies within your leather bind,
No pages could replace you,
For each one was one of a kind,
I try to tell myself, maybe it's ok,
Someone else can share your knowledge,
That it's fate working it's magic,
And there's no need to discourage,
But alas you still fall into my thoughts,
And sadness consumes your memory,
For when I lost you little black book,
I feel as i also lost part of me.
