Little Town Diners

Endless miles of road and nowhere to go
No matter how fast it always seems slow.

The people I pass by never seem to see me
a stranger in a hat is all they can see.

So I go. . . .

Driving all night
beneath the moon’s glow
drinking some beers
and doing some blow
hoping that maybe
with me you will go.

I eat in little town diner’s each and every day
just hoping that someone might look my way.

I cannot do things to prove that I’m right
so don’t try to push me unless you want to fight.

So I go. . . .

Driving all night
beneath the moon’s glow
drinking some beers
and doing some blow
hoping that maybe
with me you will go.

My life’s getting lonely so I want you to know
that if you treat me kindly I may never let go.

The drive never ends so I hope you will see
That I’m just a good man trying to live free.

So I go. . . .

Driving all night
beneath the moon’s glow
Drinking some beers
and doing some blow.

Drinking some beers
And doing some blow.
