The boy feels dead but still alive
The only things keeping him up are the hopes and promises he made to himself not to finish before the end.
Life has taught him a lot.
Not considering his tender age and heart.
He feels the pain like a fresh wound.
Hope doesn't seem like an option anymore.
He feels he's better of dead than alive.
Then he rhetorics how the mother he loves so much will feel.
