We live, we laugh we die.
It's over in a flash.
Everyone will lie,
saying we have a chance.
We have a chance to be happy.
We have a chance to live.
But some of us aren't so lucky,
even after all we give.
I've seen so many die.
People that deserved the world.
Why must they keep telling this lie,
that keeps us at our word.
They deserved life,
they deserved laughter.
They didn't deserve strife,
or being taken to slaughter.
They were so kind,
they smiled all the time.
They didn't deserve to be taken by the tide.
They didn't deserve to live this lie.
