She sits there and ponders
A world nobody understands
Make her feel safe, by touching her hands.
Listen to her stories of her world.
Her arms how they curled.
Because she just may not know who you are.
Pretend your a friend from afar.
if she calls you a name you don't know.
This is her telling you she loves you so.
She may stay quiet then yell
This is her mind going through hell.
Now can you imagine what she is feeling every day.
Her mind is deteriorating and she is not okay.
So please help her by agreeing with what she has said.
She only repeats what is in her head.
Love her for as long as you can.
Comfort her, just as I am
Because one day she won't be there anymore.
She will be fighting the scars in her wars.
