LODGE OF A THOUSAND BROTHERS
One Lodge can bestow a thousand brothers made friends;
One senior who kisses with honest truth when one makes mistakes;
One brother with different habits and healthy debates appplenty;
One Muslim and Christian brother sharing one Lodge Hyme Book;
One brethren who shares higher ideals or the same tools of trade;
One other princely mason who once bejeweled our banquet;
One Grand Lodge or District Officer who toasted to sprite and health;
One visiting brother with a variant apron from a sister Constitution;
One old Past Master who knew how the Deacon's Wand to wield;
One brethren zealous to extend his research into our mysteries;
Once, a surprised neighbour was the one made a new brother;
One was a confidant with an arm of empathy or a glass of beer;
One Mason ever ready to cram reveling brethren home in his car;
One wise mentor who harped once to learn rituals by rote plus heart; and
One thousand other brothers raised for all seasons or one lifetime.
