Our Lodge bestows us a thousand brothers turned friends;
The senior who kisses with honest truth when I make mistakes;
The brother with different habits and healthy debates aplenty;
The Muslim and Christian brother sharing one Lodge Hymns Book;
The brethren who shares higher ideals or the same tools of trade;
Another princely and debonair mason bejeweled our banquet;
The visiting brother with a variant apron from a sister Constitution;
The old Past Master teaches how the Deacon's Wand to wield;
The brethren zealous to extend his research into our mysteries;
A surprised neighbour who turns out to be the new made brother;
The confidant with an arm of empathy and a glass of beer;
The Mason ever ready to cram reveling brethren home in his car;
One wise mentor who coaches how to learn rituals by heart;
And a thousand other brothers raised for all seasons or a lifetime.
