She cries herself to sleep at night.
Rocking her body, in the fight.
Her broken heart drags herself into the nightmare.
Test her if you dare.
Longing to be loved,
Would you care, to be enough.
She fell apart and slipped into the dream.
She held on tight, let go, and let out a scream.
Now she picks up where he let her go.
He never loved her so.
Her sacred alimony, she had detested.
Her sins, she had confessed.
She drags her heart on to the ground.
He ripped it in pieces and turned her upside down.
She wanted him and all his flaws.
She never feared what she saw.
