The sun will soon come up
The beginning of a new day
If emotions cloud not my mind
Maybe I'll find my way,
My way to peace of mind
My way to serenity
My way to get things done
Work frustrations out of me,
In the chill of early morn
I go outside to do a good sweep
I get no pay for what I do
Just like to keep things neat,
Later I'll take a short nap
Awaken to the sunshine
Do a bit more of good sweeping
Then the rest of the day will be fine.
As the sun breaks the horizon
The sky takes on a beautiful hue
Looking forward to a productive day
I'm quietly looking forward to.
