Lost

Lost in chaos, nobody knows who I am.
Like a John Doe in a hospital bed, I am stuck in a loop with a painful end.
Though in the middle of care and safety, I can't seem to live peacefully.
Lost in the backwater, I don't know where I am.
Like a pirate looking for lost treasure,
I am lost on an island.
Though in the middle of silent and calm waves, ships pass by.
Lost in my head, I don't know who I am.
Like a sailor trying to find his way, I end up back on the same island.
Though in the middle of thoughts and minds, I struggle just to get by.
Lost in my own skin, this world doesn't know who I am.
Like a shipwreck among Clippers, my heart is in foreign land.
Though in the middle of overthinking and feelings, I just can't seem to find my way.
