lost confidence

Once bright and bold, now fading away,
Confidence that once shone strong and gay,
Lost in the turmoil of life’s melee,
Leaving a void, a deep sense of dismay.
Words and deeds that once spoke mysteries,
Now reduced to fumbling and insecurities,
Lacking the zeal and the exuberance,
That made life a joyous and wondrous dance.
What happened to this once vibrant soul,
That lost its spark, its destined goal?
Is it the pain of rejection or failure,
Or the agony of life’s endless pressure?
Whatever be the reason, the outcome is the same,
A loss of self-worth, a sense of shame,
But fear not, for life is a journey of change,
And confidence lost can be regained.
Rise up, my friend, from the depths of despair,
Rekindle the fire of hope, the will to dare,
Believe in yourself, for you are strong and rare,
And let your lost confidence again declare!
