We weren't supposed to be together
Our roads never entwined forever.
I caught you looking my way.
I didn't mind because I just wanted to stay.
My boyfriend was your brothers bestfriend.
We ended up at your place til the nights end.
You were toying with my emotions because you felt an attraction.
Thought you would get a little action.
My boyfriend and I broke up again.
Then you became my friend.
We started hanging out at your place.
Just you and me with all this space.
You told me that you didn't understand how I kept bringing him back into my life.
At first we were in love is what I told him then he started bringing back his strife.
All his broken promises led me to believe that he never loved me.
But this guy smothered me with love that eventually it was to much.
From being hurt all the time to being told how beautiful I am every day.
Was a lot in my heart, so I eventually broke him, I couldn't stay.
I lost love then had it and threw it all away.
That's because of my damaged heart.
I didn't know how to love again just knew how to tear things apart.
So for awhile I took a break and let my heart mend.
From time to time instead of love I just hung out with my friends.
