I once loved a captain
Who travelled across the sea
He always did something
And everything for me.
On board we sang merry
Like the Israelites on the way
We drove down the ferry
From London to the USA.
He bought me flowers
He bought me rose
He took me home
And drove away.
Leaving me lost in my thoughts
Am drowning in the sea of emotions
I wish I could see him, to say thank you
But he never came back.
