Well I grew up so naive
not knowing their Riptide Seathed
just below my Feet.
Fell in Love lost my heart,
Fell into the ocean played my part
of humanity.
now as I drift along
I drift alone searching my thoughts
Wishing it not true
Now I'm beginning to understand
Why the Ocean is Blue, N covers so much of the land
Drifted along till I ran out food
And begin to fade away.
So I picked up the Paddle
I dipped it in
Pulled myself toward the sand, back Into my life.
But it seems the hands of Time,
Didn't stop cause I lost my mind
So lonely over YOU.
So I dropped the Rope,
I had tied to my Boat,
And watch lonely Drift away.
Then with a Young Mans Stare,
looked down the trail, and took a step
walking toward my life.
I was thinking to myself search forever
and start again,
So as I never again drift away in lonely AGAIN.
I vowed I would search for a wife,
everyday for the rest of my life,
So I could go out with a smile,
Feeling I won in the Game of life
If I find you and happiness on these lonely miles
