It was love at first sight
Butterflies filled my tummy
Glued to the ground I stood
Ogling and staring at him
Wondering how one man
Could capture my attention
Amidst all the guys in the mall
It was a strange funny feeling
Not even words could explain
He had a killer smile
That killed me a million
Times as I watched him
Physically fit he looked
I guessed he was a model
I stood there for almost a century
And everything was in slow motion
So slow that I thought I was
Starring in an Indian soap opera
Everything and everyone disappeared
And all I'd see was just him and i
He seemed to have noticed me
Walked to where I was
And said hi
I froze and started shaking
Couldn't believe he was right infront of me
Talking and looking at me
It was like a dream come true
He was so tall and handsome
That my heart skipped a bit
I couldn't look straight into his eyes
I guess it was height issues lol
I gave him a hug
And it felt like home
It was so tight
That I never wanted to let go
I was at peace in his arms
And I suddenly found solace in him
There and then I knew I had finally
Found my prince charming
He didn't have to come in a chariot
Or riding a black horse
All he did was just appear
And it all felt so real
Mara hey Mara
My cousin tapped my shoulder
And I suddenly snapped out
Of it back to reality
He was never that close to me
We never hugged nor talked
It was all my imagination
All in my head.
