Love shattered my heart,
broke me.
On this terminal of pain,
there is no end in sight.
My day became sorrow,
intense than my months of joy.
Each day passes
wringing out my soul.
Love disconnects my light,
made my eyes a waterfall
till its droplet deserted me,
and its sclera whitened.
Beneath my smile
is a sealed frown.
My body became ice, longing
for the warmth of another body.
Love left me with memories
that hunt me still.
A gem me, now dwell in murky water;
Now deeper than the darkness in the
vast sea that crosses my heart daily.
