Love comes with promises -part 3

A few months have passed since Kathleen had her baby girl, now almost four months old.
She hasn't saw Matt in over a year now, feelings are becoming cold.
She is still trying to figure out, how to one day tell her precious daughter that daddy ran away.
Maybe things would have been different if only, she would have told him the new.
At least then he would of had a chance to choose.
At times, she blames herself, but it doesn't matter because that is what he had planned all along.
To make broken promises and then to disappear, which is wrong.
Maybe in a way it's good that he did what he did, at least she knows what he is all about.
To give up, without a doubt.
She decided to put Matt in the past, and start looking for a new man.
Anyone who was where she was, would understand.
Five years had passed and Kathleen was out searching for a boyfriend.
She can't wait any longer, and her heart is finally starting to mend.
She went out on many dates, but nobody topped her Matt.
She sat in a restaurant and had a glass of red wine.
Boy was she feeling fine.
Serving her a drink, was this handsome guy.
He just started working there, he was pretty much attractive, she ain't gonna lie.
He started to flirt with her the way that matt did, except he was clean shaven.
Matt had always been her safe haven.
All of a sudden she remembered that scent, the guy was wearing it, it was Matt's scent.
It has been about 5 years since she saw him, there was just something about the words he meant.
Those eyes, were Matt's eyes.
The one so full of lies.
He shook her hand and said,
Hello it's nice to meet you, my name is Matt, he was acting, like he was full of it, so much inside his head.
Kathleen shook her hand and said " for some reason you look familiar,
A man I dated looked pretty similar.
He laughed with this cocky laugh as if she was dreaming again.
He said, " It can't be me, I just moved here.
Then she shrugged her head back and said " yes, you pretty much look familiar. "
He grabbed her in his arms and kissed her, just like the way she remembered.
Just like the way she conceived in mid December.
