He's the love she lost
so long ago.
The love she's kept
that he'll never know.
Deep down inside,
locked up tight.
A love she couldn't let go
because it felt so right.
Through the years
her love never dies,
as she thinks about him
at night, when she cries.
She'll never forget him.
She'll never let go,
of the love she has for him
that he'll never know.
And as her life passes
and she breathes her last breath,
as she loved him in life,
she'll still love him in death.
