It's strange how love works,
In its own unique sense,
It possesses countless dimensions,
Like a scary movie,
It is accompanied by mysterious events.
Love paints of fantasies,
That never really have a great plot,
Building crazy chemistries
That many persue desperately,
Like a witch's brewed potion.
It's genesis.
Like that of a tree in spring
Bearing flowers that bloom.
Similarly, love resembles adoration.
With numerous 'i love you 's.
And affections that tickel you out of reality.
It's summer times are lovely,
As fate plays the uniting card.
And two strangers dance lovey-dovey,
Unconditionally showing each other love.
Love has the power
To make time stand still.
And hours apart seems like day,
Repeatedly they roam in your mind,
With their last 'i love you'
Playing like a broken record.
Visualising the future,
Love retreats into a wishful dream,
But it's only night lasting
And life starts to look scary,
In the dead of the night.
At times, love too fades away
And they give you a steady discharge,
Opening doors to winter as they let go
And you tremble at the cold thought
Of having to spend internity without them.
But that's how scary love is,
Same as a good horror movie.
Creating suspense and building tension.
Awkward feelings grow intense towards
The one supposed to be special to you.
Love is scary that,
It messes with your emotions
And every petty fight triggers fear, that,
Uncontrollable anxiety begins to climb
As you relate to the broken rules,
That overshadow your happiness.
Loving again is a scary lesson,
Where ghosts of buried memories haunt,
Giving clues for the heart to take,
But destroying your heart puzzles
As love becomes even more scary.
