He had a dream
He won't soon forget
Embedded now he would bet
About a girl
Once in a lifetime
Has a dream been this fine
There she stood
Just across the street
If only their eyes would meet
Dressed so plain
And yet she shined
Just enough to blow his mind
Quiet and calm
Relaxed and content
From where has she been sent
He walked along
Trying not to stumble
Eyes on her and he fumbled
Tripped himself
Was so embarrassing
Everyone started laughing
All but not her
She must have seen his fall
She never giggled not at all
She reached out
And asked if he was alright
He said I know that wasn't bright
Then they chatted
Amazing to talk to he thought
Shes everything that he sought
Friendly and caring
But he didn't know what to say
For a date with her one day
She then blurted
I'm a just a beginner cook but
May I make you a dinner from my book
He was in awe
Exactly what he had wished for
And now it's not a wish anymore
Beep beep beep beep
He jumps it was his alarm clock and
A dream that did nothing but mock
