Beautiful white dress, as you walk down the aisle, standing there all speechless, as my face holds a smile. As I see you crying and nervous, ready to throw in the towel, as I stare into your eyes, the pastor ask me for my vows.
Mesmerized by your eyes, as you see into my soul, wet lines down my face, as my legs start to fold. This woman here, promise to love, cherish and hold, perfection of this lady, where God broke the mold.
This love is unexplainable, but every reason to be told, from the beginning, the start, this hindered heart was sold. I take her here in matrimony, as I stand there all bold, only intention in this life, is to love her as we start to grow.
Before I turn to kiss the bride, my stomach turns and growls, right then and there I finish reading, this wonderful woman my vows. As we grow old and watching kids, holding hands on the porch, together we hold the candle, as our life still holds the torch. ©️ K.L.W
