If there was just one person,
Who was truly on your side.
That loved you no matter what,
Through good and bad that can't hide.
Would they stand against you,
Partake in a deceptive plot?
Wouldn't they come forth,
Planting a flower in a dirty lot?
Would they remain hidden?
A spectator to one's misery?
Especially when knowing,
You needed them to be?
I can't see any deception,
being mistaken as love.
Especially when the love we know,
Comes from God up above.
So, standing alone with God,
Is the only option I see.
Because, you could never,
Be brave here for me.
I'll never worry again,
About another fake relationship.
God gives me the love I need,
With His strength I'm equipped.
