what a terrifying world
that I have uncovered
and what a world it could be
if we love one another
for I found myself
full of love and Hope
and yet this world
is not ready to elope
we hear of passion and of lust
and yet nothing remains but dust.
could it be that
I do not belong
as if my love
is completely wrong?
and yet I find
that over time
I continue as I am
without reason or rhyme.
despite all the jeers and the sneers
I continued to feel without fear.
And if ever the weather
change to the Sun
from rain and downcast
I'd love another one.
For if there is a reason
to speak my heart true
whatever the season
I would fall for you.
for this is my heart full without remorse
this is who I am and I will stay the course.
