Here I lie in this lonely bed
Only able to see the images of you inside my head.
I miss you.
You say we will see each other soon
You also say I should cry no more tears
Yet, Everytime you are gone I become overtaken by my fears.
I also know that you are afraid.
I learned when you asked
"Do you still love me?"
As if I could ever stop.
You are more than just a stepping stone in my path.
You are the rivers I cross.
The bridges I use to get over my trying obstacles
Love, you are the home I am thrilled to see when I get that far.
Your body is a temple.
And your eyes are the stars the children look at in wonder under the full night sky.
To tell me that you are not amazing would be the same as telling me no'one has potential.
To say my love for you was miniscule would be the equivalent of saying you came from man, not a woman.
Love, I could never forget or stop loving someone as marvelous as you.
