Shaped like an effigy
Of the human heart
Even though it has no ventricle
Arteries, veins and auricles
Somewhat the portraiture
Of a curvy woman's ass
In tight pants with all contours
Vividly displayed from an aerial view
Of a bend over posture
Northside of the human body.
So they say and thus have agreed
As the iconography of Love.
Well cupid will always be there
To shoot some arrows
Which will eventually break apart
The red flabby crystallised structure called love.
But I know love's true form
It is the image of a man dying
On a rugged structure of two
Perpendicular lines upon which
He was stretched and nailed
Hands and feet.
Although experiencing a bizarre
Barbaric and inhumane treatment
He was thinking of you and the Joy
That behoves Him to see you again
Not subject to such for His Name sake.
Yes the true shape of love is the CROSS
Which reminds the world of God's love
As demonstrated by the death of His Son
Jesus the Christ.
