I keep my eyes wide open,
Trying never to grow tired, never knowing when you'll come to show me your true desires.
I hold on to my heart as I recall those loving words.
First it was a slip of the keys you said, we chuckled and paid no mind.
Then we spoke upon the phone, hearing each others voice.
Such familiarities, truly we were no passing strangers.
We've known each for a lifetime in a half indeed.
Then right before we said our farewells those words departed from your lips.
I gasped, not sure I heard correctly you asked if I heard, I'm like so you did say it.
Surely enough, that smile I've pictured I truly heard, it hit my heart, warming it like no other had before.
I was shocked I didn't hesitate, loving you is easy indeed your my twin flame, my love, then quickly said c-ya before ending the call.
Smile upon my face I tried my hardest not to be so obvious, yet couldn't help myself.
How could this be, truly it couldn't be!
I made sure I did everything correct, I honestly did.
No lying when asked a question, you definitely have nothing to hide.
Seriously, your an average lady who wants her words to be heard.
Surely not looking for love, your married with a son.
Regardless of the matter, to death do your part as they say.
As you say, I'm now letting my Light shine and done letting anyone dampen it.
No more dark corners for this chicky I will never fail again,
I've learned my lesson well and will succeed from the day I made that promise to myself to the day I depart from this Hell.
That's my lesson within love you must Love yourself before you can love another.
Once you succeed that lesson you will be amazed in who comes knocking across your screen or at the door.
