Oh how I love you so,
Your vivid outlook to your pristine depths,
Is a soothing balm to my fiery heart;
That your razor sharp claws pierce through.
The shackles of your bindings having a charm of its own,
Knotting us together for an eternity.
As deep as the dark Waters of the Thames,
And sapient as the age old Oak;
Pulling me into you time and again,
Only to decipher you a little better but never in its entirety.
Drinking you in like a parched being,
And loosing myself within you,
Till I forget where i start and you begin.
Those rainy nights and the cozy nooks,
Depicts a tale of eternal salvation,
Of mystical voyages and thrill,
Hollowing out my blanket drill.
You in your au naturel glory,
Aloof to the sordid viralities,
Shattering my dreams of a fool's paradise,
Revamping perspectives;
That is why I love you so,
With your Rusty visage and naked truth;
And that's why Books become a man's best friend.
