Remembering the pain of riding and being afraid to speak being black,
Now I was relieved to see a young black man with a fine white lady curls of blond on his arm,
And happy to receive compliments on my attire, to which in saying thank you, I felt charmed,
But then I saw two men embracing each other's with a love pure then the rest of us and a white male with a familiar face of discuss,
His lips perched to shout obscenity, I clinched fist and prepared for something familiar as Denver, as he then cursed,
Faggot, and in their face I saw all the same felt fear and pain, as I prayed yet again for a world to change,
Last time I ever ride and train,
