See I was gifted this young
My mother said it fell from heaven
she gave it to me as a gift when I
was about eleven
the glimmer, glimpse of shimmery gold
for some reason made me grow cold
time seemed to freeze at drop of a hand
and I didn't no where to begin
I think the very essence of the stop watch
made people peer at it's marvelous design
it was much more underneath the cover
I finally figured out while in choir class that I could pause rhythm, harmony, melodies
now no one had a clue (to be continued)
