Nowadays, I come online, I view the status,
I skip some, I ignore some, it's just automatic.
I chat with a few wise people, leave the pride-filled ones,
And it goes like that, it's called maintaining your lane, son.
I mind what matters, I don't waste my time on things,
That do not add value, that don't bring me any wings.
I'm here to grow, to learn, to connect with those who care,
And not to argue, or to compare, or to spread any scare.
I value my peace, my sanity, my happiness, my growth,
And I choose my online presence, accordingly, that's the oath.
I share my thoughts, my words, my art, but I don't impose,
I respect others' opinions, and I listen to my foes.
I'm not perfect, I still make mistakes, and I still grow,
But I'm mindful of what I do, and what I say, and how I flow.
I know that the internet is vast, and there's so much to explore,
But I focus on what's important, and I keep my lane, ever more.
So if you come across me, online, and you feel like we align,
Let's connect, and let's chat, and let's learn, and let's shine.
And if not, that's okay, we don't have to be the same,
Just mind your lane, and I'll mind mine, and we'll both maintain.
