We thought we were smart,
romantisising in the dark.
Nobody understood how we were able to sneak around without getting caught.
It's something broken I was taught.
My mother did this all the time,
So I figured how is this a crime.
You don't realize until your secret was revealed,
Oh how we thought our lips were sealed.
Being identified as a cheat,
Makes you not want to repeat.
But living in a cycle of boredom,
Brings you back to just want to run.
Now how my mother did this without getting caught, I don't know.
She must of had a lot of years of practice, or dad was doing the same, dirty, down and low.
Makes me wonder why didn't they just let go.
