I planted some basil today
I invested so much of my goals into the seeds and soil as they merged.
The water was assurance that it is done
As I water this plant every day
I speak to it with affirmation of how this is going to be my year.
As I continue to water it everyday irrespective of how tired I am.
I consciously want this to work.
I have never been this intentional.
I provide the light needed even in the dim moments
I need this plant to thrive
My life depends on it
I need to win at something...
It's been too long since I felt the joys of winning.
Even if just one of the goals I set out this year comes to pass...
I will be forever grateful that once again I am remembered.
I won't stop watering
