They say love sets you free
But mine was clipping my wings,
He wanted our relationship picture perfect but not ready to show any efforts so he start blaming me for everything.
I felt manipulated by his love,
He was controlling me,
He had become my worst nightmare,
I didn’t even have the energy to fight,
Not even a friend to share.
Whenever i burst into trears and said i can't take this anymore,
He laughed and named my anguish "melodrama" nothing more.
