A mask I wear
Covering up
my insecurities
my vulnerability
my fear
If you knew
you wouldn't love me
at least that's what I tell myself
I search for someone to take away my mask
but no one knows
but what if I take it down for just a bit?
what would happen?
would you all leave?
would you all laugh ?
would you all be disappointed?
I want to know
but I fear everything will change
I love how it is now
but it's not me.
