I tried to become what I always wanted to be.
What I really wanted was to be free.
I have a lot going on in my life,
Never was able to be any man's wife.
I live by my own set of rules,
Some would say that is pretty cool.
But in reality, I live day by day,
To make sure my family is okay.
I know now, this is who I was meant to be.
Not owned by anyone, I am free.
I fly with my own set of wings,
A family of happiness, is what I bring.
Maybe in my next life,
I will be that happy wife.
Maybe, I will rejoice
Maybe, finally I will have that voice.
