It was their last night together.
Tomorrow, he will be gone, forever.
They just wanted one more night, alone.
He was theirs to own.
She just went along with the flow.
Because she loved him so.
But little did she know,
Tomorrow, he must go.
The army is taking him away,
She knows that he cannot stay.
She will love him the best that she could.
She will love him as much as she should.
Maybe someday they could renew their love for each other.
They know that someday they may be together.
Love can set them free,,
Love can agree to disagree.
