Today, I just want to reminisce,
To laugh, smile, smirk, and frown.
But predominantly,
I want to be gratified,
To be spoiled, left stunned by
How much I've put up with,
How much I've laid back,
How much I've grown and thrived,
How much I've read up.
I want to pat myself,
Maybe tickle up a little
And appreciate the not so little girl
I Am stunned to look at, and maintain
Every little wink.
