This is what I said when I left
though I didn't want to, but left.
Its been years since I saw you last.
You were standing there looking at me
tiny droplets of tears
were sliding down the curve of your cheek.
I could feel my heart pounding in my chest
when you said,"please don't go."
"Don't say that,you know I have to go ." I whispered
I had to go for our future
but I promise I will return,
I promise to stay with you
the rest of my life.
I know its hard for us to be together,
I know the world is against us,
they don't want us to be together.
Yet I promise to stay with you,
stay with you against all odds
But, today I have to go
to answer the world,
to tell them that,
We are meant to be Together.
