A zafu lies beneath my knees
Its cushion soothes my stressed joints
Breathing in and out repeatedly
I grab hold of my flamboyant emotions
A calming state is entrancing my spirit
Meditation grabs ahold
I can feel my inner turmoil drifting
Sensing my vessel becoming lighter
Befitting the sensation of a feather
Flowing harmoniously within a current
A visceral moment overtakes my understanding
Shimmering geometry completes my surroundings
Dragons spit fire from above
Mermaids rest elegantly on translucent rocks
A Phoenix rises from the ashes before my eyes
I can feel the heat on my flush skin
Fairies skim the pollinating flowers
Twirling and dancing at every windy beat
I never belived in the world beyond
Met with the creatures of many beloved tales
Now a believer I am with the truth before me
Beholding the wonders of the spiritual world
