I am watching the rain
With you on my mind
Tears fell on my cheeks
Sobs escape from my lips
What happened to us
I wonder what went wrong
To the promise of forever
We had from not so long ago
Sadness filled my chest
As memories flashed back
Of the old happy times
We shared in the past
Will I ever find happiness
I asked myself one more time
As I watch the rain fall
From my window pane.
