I think back often to when you were here.
The memories so vivid, the picture so clear.
Certain little things that you did, that you said
fill my minds eye as silent tears are shed.
The memories will linger forever in this place.
Each room holds a memory of your laughter, of your face.
And as the seasons pass and the days go slowly by,
I will think of you often and at times, for you, I'll cry.
They say that life will still go on, that the heart will slowly heal,
that time will mend the wounds inside and slowly fade this pain I feel.
You suffered more than most in life as you lived each day in pain,
and i know your life was very special but in death you had so much peace to gain.
The memories will linger forever of that special time or special place,
and,forever, I'll hold the love in my heart that time cannot erase.
