I still think about the memories
all the good things you promised me
all the lies you told
and the places you told me to go
the memories and goals
the ones about love and growing old
the ones about dates and time spent together
do you remember all those lies you said when we were together???
I remember vividly
cause it effects me everyday
but it seems like it doesn't faze you
in the same way
I am stuck here alone
not wanting to feel this pain
but the world gets dark
and all the memories still remain
but you are gone now
for better or for worse
the memories still remain
which it seems to me
is the curse
