I was looking up at the sky,
.........the vast, blue sky,
and waving hello from the ground.
To the sun, the clouds and the flying birds,
and the happiness all around.
I was looking down at the grass,
.........the little, green grass,
and wishing good luck to those
little ants in line, working hard,
and that butterfly on the rose.
I was looking at the flowing river,
.......the clear, little river,
and smiling at the fishes!
And thinking of the times we hugged,
held hands and all the kisses.
I was looking back in time,
.....the huge desert of time,
at a day I'm sure we'll never forget.
those birds, the roses, that river, those trees.......
isn't this the place where we first met?
