You came to this world so vulnerable and free
To a mom and dad that taught you the way
Leading you to the path that you would take one day
So many things you were to learn and trials to turn.
Your now a young woman out in the world
Seeing all you can see and spreading joy to people’s hearts
Not knowing there was an eye for you with love that grew
You took the hand of a man that completed you so.
With tiny feet pitter pattering down the hall
Teaching then the love and light
That they will need so they can lead right
You hug them tight and hold them close.
With a job well done they leave your home
Bring you grandchildren to love and hold
Smiles that this has all brought
With tears to come.
You have grown older and with longing of home
For the great father has something in store
He has come to you hand out reached
To take you back home.
Go now back home and be with thee
With tears all around and heavy hearts
For you are loved and you will be missed
You will live on in our memories and hearts.
